The Centre for Research & Enterprise (CRE)
The Centre for Research & Enterprise (CRE) is an on-going initiative set up in autumn 2015, which is working towards the development of a long-term Research & Enterprise Strategy at LSBM. The key priority of CRE is to involve staff (both academic and non-academic) and students in a range of scholarly activities including:
Employability (part of the Enterprise); and
(You can see the current academic staff members of The Centre for Research & Enterprise here).
The launch of the research seminar series provides a platform for sharing our ongoing research with colleagues, as well as an avenue for developing live case studies to support our teaching and learning. It provides an environment for mentorship, servant-leadership and potential collaboration opportunities among our academic staff, and may possibly even become open to non-academic staff who have relevant experiences to share.
In the long-term, our high-achieving students may also benefit from this research activity by being invited to partake, along with the enhanced employability benefits that becoming part of our broad research and enterprise agenda will provide.
Overall by forging a seamless working relationship within the groups mentioned, the CRE is in alignment with LSBMs broader corporate vision.
