Teaching and Learning Conference 2013
Unlocking the Potential: Innovation in Higher Education Teaching, Learning and Assessment Friday, 5 July 2013
This year’s conference was attended by a total of over 40 people. Overall, feedback from participants was very favourable, with attendees complementing the event for its focus on ‘positivity, passion and commitment to change.’ Of a range of ratings relating to a variety of measures which included the organisation of the event, clarity of the presentations and the satisfaction derived from attending, 64% of overall ratings were strongly positive and a further 32% constituted positive feedback. All the participants agreed that the conference met its stated objectives, with more than 60% of respondents agreeing strongly. Moreover, the event met personal and professional objectives of the majority of attendees. In the words of one contributor, ‘You have achieved your goals and ours. It was a well organised, informative and enjoyable event.’
