ACCA Accreditation Announcement

15 Aug 2016

We are pleased to announce that London School of Business and Management has been accredited for ALL nine ACCA exemptions for its BA (Hons) Accounting and Financial Management degree courses.

You can read details about our available accounting courses here.

The exciting news is that ALL nine ACCA courses are now fully accredited for exemptions by completing one of our accounting degrees:

F1 - The Accountant in Business
F2 - Management Accounting
F3 - Financial Accounting
F4 - Corporate and Business Law
F5 - Performance Management & Control
F6 - Taxation
F7 - Financial Reporting
F8 - Auditing in Context
F9 - Financial Management

We are pleased to have such great course synergies with the ACCA syllabus, that enables our finance degree programme to be so relevant to the real-world work experience of accounting professionals.

(You can learn more about exemption accreditations on the ACCA website here - )

What does this mean for our students?

In practice this means that students who sucessfully pass any of our Accounting and Financial Management degrees can gain exemptions not only from 8 CIMA papers, but also now from 9 ACCA papers.

This means savings in time and money for our students, and also that those who study with us have a degree that is more valuable to them in a very practical sense over our competition.

It is very common to seek out accreditations with leading bodies such as CIMA and ACCA after the completion of your accounting degree, and this exciting news means that LSBM have already done much of the heavy-lifting in getting our students successfully established as accounting professionals.

To see the ACCA exemptions you will be entitled to

You can see the ACCA exemptions that LSBM have agreed by doing a search on the ACCA exemptions search facility on their website here:

1/ Choose:

Institution name: London School of Business and Management
Country: United Kingdom

Click on 'Search'

3/ Put in the year you will graduate (e.g. If you started in September 2016 then for a four-year course this would be 2020, or 2019 for a three-year course, or 2018 for a two-year accelerated.)

This will then show you a list of the modules you will be exempt from completing, as well as the modules you would need to complete to be exempt from all nine ACCA exams.

More good news...

The other good news is that it isn't too late to squeeze onto one of our validated accounting degree programs for a September 2016 start!

If you act now, then we can try our best to help you take the first-step to a highly paid and happy future as an accountant.
