OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT
The Disability Confident scheme aims to help employers successfully employ and retain disabled people and those with health conditions.
Participating in the Disability Confident government initiative is a unique opportunity for LSBM to lead the way in our community.
As a Disability Confident Committed employer we have committed to the following:
In practice, LSBM were already committed to a fair recruitment process and we pride ourselves on the personal support we offer to students and staff. So we fully support the aims and objectives of the scheme and are committed to being a leader in this area.
We have a dedicated Disability and Student Welfare Advisor, Dr Konstantina (Nadia) Michail, who is available during office hours to advise staff and students and help them if there are difficulties that can be overcome.
If you would like to talk to one of our advisors about us being a Disability Confident Committed employer, or any other disability or welfare issues, then you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also learn more about the work of the LSBM Disability Office and the support that we offer, or learn more about the Disability Confident scheme.
